Michael Wayne Irvin, age 74, of Wytheville, passed away on Wednesday, October 1, 2025. He was born in Wythe County on January 11, 1951, to the late Glenn S. and Agnes Hearn Irvin. Michael was the Owner and Operator of Irvin Construction Services for 25 years. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Doris Ryan and Glenda Arnold; a brother, Douglas Irvin.
Survivors include his wife of 31 years, Regina G. Irvin of Wytheville; a brother, Danny Irvin of Roxboro, N.C.; three sons and daughters-in-law, Brian (Latricia) Irvin of Rural Retreat, Jason (Becky) Irvin of Wytheville, Tyler (Breanna) Irvin of Wytheville; nine grandchildren, Jessie, Courtney, Bailey, Josiah, Alyssa, Kendra, Lily and Ozriel and Wilder; and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside service per his wishes for family and friends will be held 3 p.m., Monday, October 6, 2025, at the Berea Christian Church Cemetery with Pastor Todd Porter officiating. There will be no visitation. Online condolences can be sent to the family at www.grubbfuneralhome.com. Grubb Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
