Peter Egan Obituary
Pete was born on June 2, 1967, in Shakopee, the son of Donald "Don" and Mary (Shea) Egan. He was a member of International Union of Operating Engineers Local #49, and worked as a heavy equipment operator.
Pete enjoyed camping and gardening, and especially liked spending time fishing and hunting at the shack in WI he and his brother owned together.
Survivors include his mother, Mary; sisters and brothers, Mary "Bee", Donald (Debra), Tom (Donna), and Regina (Dan) Myer; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Don; and brother, Joe.
Visitation Monday, March 30, 2026, from 4-8 PM at McNearney-Schmidt Funeral and Cremation, 1220 3rd Ave. East, Shakopee. Visitation will also be held on Tuesday, March 31, from 10-10:45 AM, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 4625 W. 125th St., Savage, followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM. Interment St. John the Baptist Cemetery.
