Patrick Cardenas Obituary

Patrick Delfido Cardenas, born on August 8, 1967, in Fort Carson, Colorado to Samuel E. Cardenas and Maria P. Cardenas, passed away on January 23, 2025, in Denver, Colorado. He was a devoted father, brother, and grandfather, remembered for his kind spirit and dedication to those around him.

Patrick dedicated thirty-seven years of his career to Intel Corporation, where he earned a reputation as a reliable and honest employee. His commitment to his work was matched only by the care and respect he extended to his colleagues and family. A graduate of Munich High School in Munich, Germany, class of 1985, Patrick approached life with a sense of duty and integrity. His personality was marked by kindness; he was always ready to lend a helping hand, treating others and himself with the utmost respect.  Most notably, "Patrick treated others and himself with respect.  He was honest and kind, always ready to help when needed.  He was reliable and always true to his word."

His legacy lives on through his beloved family members. Patrick is survived by his daughter, Amanda Gallegos; son, Patrick Trujillo; brothers, Michael Cardenas and Anthony Cardenas; sister, Sarah Cardenas; and his cherished grandchildren, Kaia Gallegos, Mesmoriah Trujillo, and Kaizyn Gallegos. Additionally, he leaves behind eight nieces and nephews, along with many treasured cousins and good friends who will remember him fondly.

Patrick was preceded in death by his grandfather, Patricio Cardenas; his grandfather, Delfido Garcia; and his grandmother, Maria A Garcia. Their memories will undoubtedly be honored by those who knew and loved him.

Services to celebrate Patrick's life will be held on February 17, 2025. The funeral service is scheduled to begin at 1:00 PM at Daniels Family Funeral Services - Southern Chapel, located at 2400 Southern Blvd, Rio Rancho, NM 87124. Following the funeral, a graveside service will take place at Vista Verde Memorial Park at 2:30 PM, located at 4310 Sara Rd, Rio Rancho, NM 87124.  Immediately following services, the family invites you to join them at Cazuela's restaurant, west of Vista Verde at 4051 Sara Rd SE.

Patrick Delfido Cardenas will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. His genuine character, unwavering reliability, and boundless kindness will remain etched in the hearts of his family and friends forever.
