Mary Joann Anderson, age 77, passed away on February 26, 2025. She was born on May 15, 1947, in Artemus, Kentucky, to her loving parents, the late Thomas and Gertrude (nee Hembree) Jones.
Beloved wife of the late Robert Wayne Anderson. Devoted mother of Betsy Reynolds (Milt) and Aimee Anderson. Cherished grandmother of Jessica Lovejoy, Jennifer Lovejoy, Robert Anderson, Rebecca Maysonet, Kaula Maysonet, and Megan Vincent, and great-grandmother of Logan, Ethan, Oliver, Ramona, Rayah, Lakih, Nazier, Mila, Briella, Cyrus, Eleanor, and Maverick.
Dear sister of Jack Jones, JR Jones, Bonnie Frederick, Fred Jones, Randal Jones, Dorislene Brown, and Dole Jones. Treasured aunt and great-aunt to a host of nieces and nephews.
Mary enjoyed going to church, spending afternoons shopping, listening to the timeless music of Elvis, and cheering on her beloved Cavs basketball team. Her warm presence and joyful spirit will be deeply missed by her family and friends, who will forever cherish the memories they shared with her.
Family and friends are welcome on Thursday, March 6, 2025, from 5 to 7 p.m., at Slone & Co. Funeral Directors 13115 Lorain Ave. Cleveland, OH 44111.
