Lorraine Albanese Obituary

Age 94 of Moorestown, NJ (formerly of Cherry Hill) passed peacefully at home while surrounded by family on October 23, 2025. Wife of the late M. William Albanese. Beloved mother of William (DiAnne), Joan (Lou), Karen, Stephen (Lisa), and Gary (Mary). Devoted grandmother of Krista (Ben), Lauren (Christopher), Drew, Emma (Kevin), Tara, Michael, Matthew and Luke. Loving Great Grandmother of Louis, Vincent and Angelo. Dear Sister of Barbara.
Lorraine worked as a teacher after graduating from college and then became a devoted mother and homemaker. Later she worked as a real estate agent. She also cared for her grandchildren, whom her patience with was unending. She never tired of playing grocery store, for countless hours in the basement, watching the same movies or reading the same books over and over again, feeding ducks at the park day after day or making another "famous Mom-Mom's grilled cheese".
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Viewing on Monday, November 3, 2025, from 9:00 – 10:45 AM at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, 42 West Main St., Moorestown, NJ 08057 followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM. Interment Private. In lieu of flowers contributions in her memory may be made to the American Cancer Society, 1851 Old Cuthbert Rd, Cherry Hill, NJ 08034 or St. Vincent de Paul Moorestown, c/o Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, 42 West Main St., Moorestown, NJ 08057
