Sue and I were deeply saddened to hear of Lisa's passing. Your early days teaching in Kewaunee left a lasting impression on everyone you came in contact with. I can't think of anyone more positive and energetic than the two of you. Our prayers are with you.

As a summer volunteer at the Tomahawk Thrift Store, I was amazed by all Lisa did to make that store such a success. She worked hard. She was such a positive person. She inspired all of us to do more. I will miss my summer friend.

My heart was so heavy after hearing that Lisa was gone. She was an amazing woman and I loved having her as our principal at CHS. She had such enthusiasm for life and was always full of positive energy. She will be so missed.

Oh Lisa and Bryan, you both mean the world to me and our children. Before you both retired, Bryan was like mentor to our son Matt, and directly responsible for so much of his success as a teacher.
Bryan also was at Gateway when our daughter-in-law started seaching horticulture there. She loved him as a leader, and especially as supporter of her and Matt.
And as for Lisa...as a mother of Jen, your former Math Teacher at Central, I hold you in the highest esteem. You literally took care of our daughter, and quite possibly saved her career. You recognized something was seriously wrong with her health, and stood by her to offer your help. You got her the leave she needed, protecting her job, and.. in my eyes,...saving her life. The medications she was on completely messed her up physically and cognitively so she couldn't teach. Once she got healed, you brought her back. Your confidence in her abilities, and and your confidance, changed her life. I will be forever grateful to you for that.
I know I'm not the only mother whose "children" directly benefitted from the two of you...so my heart is absolutely broken at the news of Lisa's passing.
Bryan, I thank God you have amazing memories of your retirement together, along with a lifetime full of love and dedication to each other, and all the rest of us. I know that you know, that you were incredibly blessed. All of us, were blessed too, to have her in our life. She was absolutely selfless...protecting her staff, believing in them, and showing them that excellent leadership is also caring and understanding. We will never, ever forget her.
