Linda Ann (James) Bigbie, age 75, an Atoka, OK resident, was born on Friday, December 24, 1948, to Herbert Harvey and Geraldine M. (Johnson) James, at Oklahoma City, OK. Linda passed away on Friday, November 8, 2024 at Atoka, OK. She graduated from Bitburg Airforce Base High School in Germany with the Class of '67. She went on to receive an Associate's Degree from Murray State College in the class of '69. Linda was a housewife and homemaker. She married John L. Bigbie Jr. on Saturday, July 1st, 1989 at Tishomingo, Ok. Linda was of the Baptist Faith, she loved writing, cooking, dancing, her horses, and completely doted on her grandchildren.
She is survived by her daughters, Charity Cowan and husband Charles of Coalgate, OK, Stephanie Keys and husband John of Westville, OK; granddaughter, Jordyn Crockett, Rachel Keys; siblings, Lanora Cain and husband Harry of Ardmore, OK, Gregory James and wife Tina of Tulsa, OK, Letitia Weast and husband Aaron of Comanche, OK, Rick James and wife Sherrie of Florida; along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear and loved friends.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Herbert and Geraldine (Johnson) James; husband, John L. Bigbie Jr.; father of her children, Steven David Crockett.
