Linda Mae Barrett, 85, of Susquehanna, PA, passed away on Monday, November 25, 2024, at Barnes Kasson Hospital in Susquehanna, PA.
She was predeceased by her parents Kenneth & Valerie Walker and husband Robert M. Barrett.
Linda is survived by her son Kenneth J. Barrett; many nieces and nephews; and several close friends.
Linda was born on March 19, 1939, and was raised in Oakland, PA. She graduated high school from Laurel Hill in Susquehanna, PA. After high school she married her husband Robert and had their son Kenny. She worked as a bank tell her in County National Bank in Susquehanna, PA for 50 years until her retirement. Linda was a devoted member of the community and was involved in many organizations throughout her lifetime. As of recent she was a member of the Red Hat Society. She enjoyed reading, coloring, and doing word puzzles. Linda was a loving wife and mother who will be dearly missed.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, December 7, 2024, at Noon at Hennessey's Funeral Home, 747 Jackson Ave. Susquehanna, PA.
The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home on Saturday, December 7, 2024, from 10am till Noon.
Interment will be in St. John's Cemetery, Susquehanna, PA.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hennessey's Funeral Home to help pay for Funeral Expenses.
