Kenneth G. York, 82, passed away peacefully on February 24, 2025. Born on June 23, 1942, to the late John and Eva York, Kenneth lived a life full of love and dedication to his family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Beverly York, and his brother, Curly (Joan) York. Kenneth is survived by his sister, Sharon Guthrie, his nephew, Kenneth (Hope) Spellacy, his great-nephew, Brandon Spellacy, and his great-great-nephews, Spencer and Hudson. He also leaves behind his dear family friends, John Manzete and Sandy A., and many other cherished friends.
Kenneth was a 9th degree black belt in karate and had a deep passion for classic cars. His dedication to martial arts and his love for vintage automobiles were well-known among his friends and family.
Kenneth will be remembered for his kindness, generosity, and the joy he brought to those around him. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 12, 2024, from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Sunset Memorial Chapel, 6245 Columbia Road, North Olmsted, Ohio 44070. A service to celebrate Kenneth's life will follow at 2:00 PM.
