IN LOVING MEMORY OF Judy Lynn Cook, whose heart of gold touched everyone she met. Her thoughtfulness spread warmth and joy to all. Though she may be gone, her legacy of love and generosity lives on in the hearts of those she cherished.
Judy Lynn Cook, 66, passed on April 15, 2024, after a long illness. She was preceded in death by her parents, Leo and Martha Mahoney Cook of Shelbyville and her brother, Jeff Cook of Frankfort. She is survived by her brother, Steven L. Cook (Angela) of Shelbyville. Also surviving are her loving nieces, nephews and cousins. She selflessly cared for her brother, mother and father in their final hours, embodying compassion and kindness. Judy was a member of the First Baptist Church of Shelbyville.
In recognition of her courageous battle with a long illness marked by several hospital stays, the family extends heartfelt gratitude to the dedicated staff at U. of L. Hospital, Mary and Elizabeth Hospital, the compassionate care provided by Ambulance Services, the expertise of her doctors and nurses and the unwavering support of the team at Hosparus.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Webb Funeral Home.
In honoring her memory, the family requests privacy during this time as they celebrate Judy's life. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
