John Hernandez, Sr., 65, of Waco, TX, passed away Monday, January 27, 2025. A Celebration of Life will be from 6pm – 8pm, Monday, February 10, at Pecan Grove Funeral Home in Waco.
John was born May 24, 1959, in Maxwell, TX and was raised in Lockhart, TX. He was employed at H&B Packing for over 20 years. He spent all his free time with his grandkids and was excited to be a great grandpa in July 2025.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Felicitas Hernandez, and sister, Maria Rodriguez.
He is survived by children, John Hernandez, Jr. and his kids, Angelina, John III, Olivia, and Jesse Hernandez; his daughter, Nancy Gonzalez and her kids, Jasmine, Jaime III, Jessica and Josiah Gonzalez; daughter, Victoria Hernandez and her kids, Isaac Hernandez, Cristian, Eleina, and Desiree Nicolas; sisters, Lena and spouse Pete Rodriguez and their kids, Gabriel Rodriguez and wife Cindy, Ronnie and Roman Rodriguez, Ruby Carmello and her son, Dallas; and Maria’s children, Alfred Rodriguez and wife Kim, Rachel Gonzales and husband George, and Chris Rodriguez and wife Leandra.
Memories and condolences can be left on the obituary at the funeral home website.
