John Clayton Baker II, 66, of Montgomery, TX, peacefully passed away surrounded by his loving family on May 18, 2024, in Montgomery, TX.
John was born on January 11, 1958, in Jasper, TX, to John Clayton Baker Sr. and Luella Berryman.
John worked at Entergy for 38 years, ending his career as a transmission substation supervisor. He was a master scuba diver who enjoyed going on many dive trips and teaching scuba lessons. He also enjoyed playing the guitar and singing to some of his favorite songs. He was an avid gamer and a collector of many things who took pride in building his unique collections.
John was preceded in death by his parents and brother Robert Allen Baker.
John is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Karen, and his children; Jennifer O'Shay and husband Brandon, Amy Baker, John Baker III, and his grand-dogs/cats. He will be greatly missed by his family and many friends.
The Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, May 31, 2024 at Eickenhorst Funeral Services, 12412 FM 2854 RD, Conroe, TX 77304. The family will receive friends beginning at 10:30 AM.
