Gary Duane Irvine, aged 69, passed away on Wednesday, February 19, 2025, in Louisville, Kentucky.
He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, godfather, and brother. Gary was preceded in death by his father, Richard Charles Irvine. He is survived by his devoted wife of nearly 47 years, Judy Irvine, and his loving mother, Betty Ruth Irvine. Gary's legacy continues through his children, Jason Lee Irvine and his wife Angela, Richard Charles Irvine II and his wife Marta, and Sharnay Elizabeth Niemuth and her husband Jeremiah. He was a proud grandfather to Aaron, Zoe, Lucy, Ethan, Jonathan, Iris, Evelyn, Lucas, Araya, Ember, and Serenity, and a cherished godfather to his sweetpeas, Jordan, Emerson, and Orion. Gary is also survived by his sisters, Pamela Ayres and Jeannie Irvine.
A funeral service to honor Gary's life will be held at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, February 25, 2025, at New Life Church in Louisville, Kentucky, with Pastor Carroll Parrish officiating. Family and friends are invited to a visitation from 2-6 p.m. on Tuesday at the church.
