Ella Kuhn Obituary

It is with heartfelt respect we share the news of the passing of Ella Louise Kuhn, who left us on February 22, 2025. Ella was born in Assumption, IL on April 11, 1936, to William and Gertie Hatcher. A woman of many passions, Ella's life was a beautiful tapestry woven with threads of love, courage, and service to others. She was a devoted wife to Lawrence Kuhn for 45 memorable years, which they began in Las Vegas, NV on July 22, 1980, before embarking on a life of adventure and shared dreams.
Ella was a steadfast pillar in the lives of her sons Eugene & wife Peggy, Gregory Lamont. Her Grandchildren Angela Thornhill & husband Mike, Eugene Lamont, Daryl Lamont & wife Jessica, and her eight beloved great grandchildren: Samantha, Zachary, Lucas, Daedalus, Pryor, Era, Eugene, and Eva. Her dedication to her family was only paralleled by her commitment to her career as a Practical Nurse at Glendale Community Hospital in Glendale, CA. Ella's compassionate nature and professional expertise touched countless lives, earning her the affection and respect of her colleagues and patients alike. After moving from Burbank, CA to Lake Havasu City in 1983, Ella later relocated to Summit, PA in 2000, only to return to Havasu in 2008. Her adventurous spirit was embodied in her love for riding motorcycles, her commitment to the Christian Motorcycle Association, and her joy for dancing.
Ella's zest for life extended far beyond her personal pursuits. She was a pillar in the community, volunteering at St. Vincent stores. Ella's love for nature was evident in her fondness for birds and dogs. Ella's legacy is a testament to a life lived with purpose, love, and a profound sense of service. Her vibrant spirit, warmth, and selflessness will forever be remembered and cherished by all who were fortunate enough to have known her.
A memorial service to honor and celebrate Ella's life will be held on Sunday, March 9, 2025, at 2:00 pm MST at Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home & Crematory, 21 Riviera Boulevard, Lake Havasu City, Arizona, 86403.
