Tameka LaChelle Hall-Harness was born April 23, 1978, to Verilyn Funchess and John L. Hall. She was called home to the Lord on October 17, 2025.

Tameka attended Bassfield High School as part of Class '96. She moved to the Gulf Coast, where she continued her education at MGCCC. She became a member of the Order of Eastern Star while living here on the Gulf Coast.

She was preceded in death by her stepfather, Charlie Rivers and a brother, John Hall, Jr.

Tameka is survived by her husband, Creevy Harness Sr., her daughter, Imani Harness, and her son Creevy Harness Jr. (CJ); Mother, Verilyn Rivers; father John L. Hall ( Clevenstine), sister Sharonda Williams (Tommy Williams); brothers Cedrick Hall (Jelisa Tolbert), Jonathan Hall (Shawntae Davis-Hall) and Michael Nelson.; sister, Jasmine Hooker ( Sharell Larkin), and sister, Nykenyia Smith; Brothers-in-law, Cliff Harness Jr. (Wilma Chatman-Harness) and Kelvin Harness ( Lekelisa Harness); nieces Tramiaya Funchess-Craig (Fernado Craig), Jada K. Ruffin, Jabreia Hall, Jikiera Hall, Jamiaya Hall, Kyrine Tolbert-Hall, Kayln Tolbert-Hall, Kynnedy Tolbert-Hall, Jaylen Tolbert, Jaliyah Hall, Amayiah Williams, Kameria Williams, Madalyn Williams, Joscilyn Chatman, Aunye Harness, and Charleigh Rivers-Smith. Nephews Mateo Funchess ( Amber Afton ), Kelvin Harness Jr., Kingston Harness, Antionio Hall, Jayden Hall, Braelyn Hall, and Peyton Hall. Great nieces Skylar Russell, Saige Craig, Zalia Afton-Funchess, Inez Marie Afton-Funchess, several Aunts and Uncles, hosts of cousins, and a multitude of friends.

Everyone who knew Tameka knew she was a warm and loving person. She always had a smile on her face. She was the life of the party. She was gifted in arts and crafts, and could stay in Hobby Lobby all day. She was a great daughter, sister, wife, Mother, friend, niece, and cousin. She meant a lot to each of us. She will be truly missed.
