Deloris Zabel Obituary
She was born February 5, 1935 in Barron to Leo Lloyd and Gertrude (Taber) Lloyd. She grew up in the town of Barron and graduated from Barron High School in 1953.
She married Herbert "Bud" Zabel on May 5, 1955 at Salem Lutheran Church Parsonage in Barron. Both were life time members of Salem Lutheran Church.
Deloris is survived by her daughters, Andrea Tabor of Inver Grove Heights, MN and Kristin (Dave) Presuhn of Fridley, MN; daughter-in-law, Cathy Zabel of Barron; 5 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; many nieces; nephews; cousins; other relatives and friends.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, Herbert "Bud" Zabel and her son, Gary.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, March 6, at 11:00 a.m. at Salem Lutheran Church in Barron, with Vicar Jon Berkesch officiating. Visitation will take place at the church one hour prior to the service, with a luncheon to follow.
Arrangements are being handled by Rausch and Steel Funeral Home in Barron. Online condolences can be made at www.rauschandsteelfuneralhome.com.
