Delia Morgan of Winston Salem, NC went to her heavenly home Tuesday evening, January 7th, 2025, she was 82 yrs old. Delia was born in Ponce, Puerto Rico and moved to the state of New York at a young age. She's survived by her husband James Morgan, daughter Natalie Wallace, daughter-in-law Irene Conte, grandsons: Dareo, Matthew and Jenaro. Granddaughters : Jlenia and Mikayla and great granddaughter Gigi. Sisters: Lydia, Evelyn and Mary and brother Robert. She was preceded in death by her son James Morgan. She was in home hospice care and passed away peacefully and quickly in the presence of her daughter, Natalie, her grandson, Matthew, and family friend, Patricia Blackwell. Delia was a woman of faith who loved Jesus and loved telling the story of when she lived in New York and someone once spoke a prophetic word over her. He told her that she would be the mother of many. She didn't understand at the time what he meant but later realized that the prophetic word he spoke over her was fulfilled through her job, which she considered her ministry. She would often pray for people at work and help out anyone in need. Everyone there affectionately called her ""Mom"" or ""Grandma"". She would often cry telling this story recognizing how good God is and how that word spoken over her so many years ago was fulfilled. There were also many that came into her job who would do anything to help out ""mom, the love was mutual. Delia also loved to sing and dance to Christian music and supported the local Christian station among other charities. She was also beyond faithful in the giving of her tithes and offering. She was a longtime member of Agape Faith Church in Clemmons, NC.
