David John Arbogast, III was born in Athens, Ohio on December 22, 1997, to David John Arbogast, II and Kimberly Johnson Arbogast. He departed this life Tuesday, June 24, 2025, in Phillipsburg, Missouri. He was twenty-seven years, six months and two days of age.
David was raised in Ohio and Missouri. He graduated from West Virginia High School. He moved to Lebanon, Missouri with his family in 2018. He then relocated to Indiana and had recently returned to Lebanon.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Theresa Marie King and James Edward Trevena; and his uncle, Walter Trevena.
David is survived by his loving parents, David John Arbogast, II and April Anne Arbogast; his son, Dalton John-Michael Arbogast; his sister, Enia Alise Arbogast; grandparents, David Arbogast, Sr. and Sandra Arbogast; his aunt, Rebecca Ann Leach and her husband Josh and an uncle, Michael Shannahan.
David enjoyed playing cards, playing pool, and being outdoors as often as he could. He liked listening to music and hanging out with his friends. He had a love for animals and would go out of his way to help an animal or just show an animal compassion.
He was tragically taken from us too soon. He will be missed by his family and friends and remembered for many years to come. David was a kind and generous soul, whose bright spirit touched everyone he met. His zest for life was infectious and those moments with him will forever be cherished.
Memorial service for David John Arbogast, III will be Saturday, July 5, 2025 at 6 p.m. at Holman-Howe Funeral Home. Visitation will be Saturday, July 5 from 4 – 6 p.m. in the funeral home.
A memorial has been established and donations may be left at the funeral home.
