Larned – Daniel "Danny" Adams Jr, 48, passed away June 8, 2025 in St. Louis, Missouri. Danny was born July 2, 1976 in Larned, Kansas to Daniel Adams Sr. and Carol Newman. Danny spent his school years between Hemet, California and Larned, Kansas. Danny was a free spirit and chose to live without being tied to one place. He spent his life on the road blowing with the wind all over the country. We never knew where he was or when he would show up. The place he called home was Larned. Danny Really enjoyed drawing and coming up with new inventions, he would talk your ear off about all his inventions. He was very creative and talented. Danny had one true love of his life, Trudy, she passed away in 2018 leaving him lost. Danny leaves behind two children Austin (Eileen) Lauderdale, Hemet, California; Courtney Adams, Great Bend; two grandchildren, Austin and Ava Lauderdale, Hemet, California; his mother, Carol Newman, Oklahoma; father Daniel Adams Sr. and second Mother Carla Adams, Larned; two brothers, Jimmy (DeeDee) Kimbrel, Russell, Steven (Maranda) Adams, Garfield; five sisters, Lisa (Eric) Pendoyer, Blackfoot, Idaho, Shonda (Shane) Watts, Salina, Debbie (Jessie) Carrillo, Russell, Tammy (Jeff) Dorian, Larned, Teresa (Kachina) Adams-Harrington, Salina; many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and several friends who became family. A go-fund-me has been set up and a memorial fund at Farmers Bank and Trust in Larned to help with Final Expenses. The family invites friends to celebrate Danny's life at a come-and-go lunch and reception from 1-4 p.m. Saturday, July 5, 2025 at Larned United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall.
