Daniel J. Andrews, 58, of Dunmore, PA, died Wednesday, January 15, 2025, at Allied Services Skilled Nursing Center, Scranton, PA, surrounded by his family.
Born November 30, 1966 in Scranton, PA, he was the son of the late Michael J. Andrews, Sr. and Lea M. Cox Andrews.
Dan was a graduate of Dunmore High School. He worked at Specialty Records for over 20 years and prior to his illness worked at the Chamberlain Corporation in Scranton, PA, as a machinist. He was of the Catholic faith and was a fan of football.
The family would like to thank the staff of Allied Skilled Nursing for their compassionate care to Dan and his family.
He is survived by one sister: Susan Rushworth and husband, Robert of Greenfield Township, PA; three brothers: Michael Andrews and wife, Kathleen of Throop, PA, Christopher Andrews of Greenfield Township, PA, and Timothy Andrews and wife, Lisa of Dunmore, PA: several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A private family service will be held in the spring at Our Mother of Sorrows Cemetery, Greenfield Township, PA.
Arrangements are under the care of the Shifler-Parise Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Clifford, PA.
