Services: Requiem Mass at Queen of Angels Catholic Church, 209 W. 11th St., Port Angeles, at 11 a.m. Monday. A graveside service will follow at Mount Angeles Memorial Park, 45 S. Monroe Road, Port Angeles, at 1:15 p.m.

One of the best people I've ever known and she and my mom were best friends throughout their entire lives. May Eternal Rest be granted unto Mary and may Perpetual Light shine upon her. May her soul that the souls of all the faithfully departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace.

She was one of a group of resilient, real ladies I'd known and admired at the Q of A. One morning, at coffee hour I'd stopped at her table to chat, like we Catholics do. She looked at me, pointed at a group and says, "they're full of it". I laughed and nodded and had to take a seat next to her. Most heartfelt condolences.
