Cheryl L. Becker, 60 of West Salem died on March 8, 2025 at Medina Hospital after a hard battle with Cancer. She was born on October 2, 1964 in Ashland, Ohio to parents William and Ruth (Trapp) Fraunfelter. She graduated Northwestern High school in 1983; then married the love of her life, Michael Becker July 16, 1983 at Northview Alliance Church. They would then spend the next 41 years as an inseparable pair. Cheryl worked for Buckeye Oil Producing Company Incorporated as their office manager in Wooster for 38 years. She was a devoted member to the Northview Alliance Church where she was a; Deaconess, member of the choir, helped with the nursery and little lambs. Cheryl also enjoyed vacationing, canning, vegetable gardening, reading and cross stich. Most of all Cheryl loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Cheryl leaves behind her husband, Michael; 2 sons, Justin Michael Becker and Cameron William (Tara) Becker; 2 grandchildren, Carter and Oaklynn Becker; 2 sisters, Karen Poling and Sharon Swanson, nieces and nephews; Jason Poling and Brian (Lindsey) Parker, Ben (Amanda) Swanson, Brandon (Cassie) Swanson.
There will be a Celebration of Life Service on March 22, 2025 at 11:00 AM, located at the Northview Alliance Church, 3464 Burbank Road Wooster, Ohio 44691 with Pastor Matt Walker officiating the service. Memorials can be sent to the Great Commission Fund at the church. If you have a photo or a memory to share with the family you can do so at the Matteson Funeral Home's website at mattesonfh.com.
