Charles Chism Craig, Sr. Friars Point, MS Charles Chism Craig, Sr., 79, an Ag Consultant and Farmer, passed away November 7, 2025 at his home. Visitation is Monday November 10, 2025, 10:00 - 11:00 A.M. at Meredith-Nowell Funeral Home in Clarksdale, MS. The family will hold a private memorial service. Meredith-Nowell Funeral Home in Clarksdale, MS is handling the arrangements. Charlie was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. He was a life long farmer who cared deeply for wildlife and loved to fly. Survivors include his wife of 55 years Sue Haaga Craig; son Chism Craig (Memory) of Hernando, MS; daughters Kate Scott Pennock (Jody) of Tunica, MS and Haaga Michaelson (Patrick) of St. Francisville, LA; and grandchildren Sarah Scott Craig, Charles Craig, III., Georgia Pennock, Sessions Pennock, Knox Michaelson, Mac Michaelson and Kate Collins Michaelson. He was preceded in death by his parents Lawrence and Margaret Sessions Craig and brother Bruce Craig. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, P.O.
