Carol Grindstaff, age 77, passed away peacefully and is now reunited with her beloved husband, Bob, at the Veterans Memorial. She is survived by her four children, two sisters, and countless grandchildren and great-grandchildren, all of whom will carry her memory in their hearts.

Carol spent much of her life working as a waitress, many years at Old Fishermen's Grotto, where she was known for her quick wit, humor, and her ability to turn a meal into a memorable experience. If you ever had her as a waitress, you would have never forgotten it.

She was beautiful, funny, and spunky - a woman known for her playful teasing, making her presence known, and her unforgettable humor. Carol had a one-of-a-kind spirit. She often joked with her family, and whenever someone told her "I love you," she was sure to reply with a smile, "I love me too!"

Carol's love extended to her family, her friends, and especially her beloved dog, Hank, who she cherished dearly. Her laughter, love, and spirit will forever live on in our hearts.

Until we meet again! Xoxo
