Carl Garrett, Jr. Obituary
Carl Steven Garrett, Jr., 81, of Shubuta, MS., passed away on August 27, 2025. He grew up in Alabama but made his home in Shubuta, where he still proudly rooted for The Alabama Crimson Tide. He always enjoyed visiting with the folks in his community at their local restaurant for good company and fresh coffee. The family would like to express their extreme gratitude to Dorothy Taylor White for all the care she provided to Carl over the past years. He is survived by his two sisters, Brenda Flaugher and Patricia Swann. Along with two nephews and one niece, Michael Swann, Austin Flaugher, and Christy Swann. A celebration of Carl's life will be held on Saturday, October 4, 2025, beginning at 11:00 a.m. at Shubuta Baptist Church. Trinity Funeral Services is honored to serve the Garrett family during this time and would ask that you remember them in your thoughts and prayers over the coming days.
