Bettye Allen Obituary
It is with deep and profound sympathy that we announce the transition of Ms. Bettye Merriweather Allen who entered into rest June 21, 2024.
Ms. Allen a native of Aiken County, retired from University Hospital as a CNA. She was a member of North Augusta Baptist Church where she was a member of the choir..
She was preceded in death by her son, Michael Allen.
Survivors include two daughters, Victoria Merriweather and Cynthia Ancrum; three sisters, Ida Culbreath, Julia Jones and Doris Foreman; ten grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren and one great great grandchild; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 11 am Friday, June 28, 2024 at North Augusta Baptist Church where the Rev. Danny Cobb pastor and the Rev. Dennis Dunbar eulogist. Interment will follow in Walker Memorial Park. Viewing will be held from 2 pm to 5:30 pm Thursday at the funeral home.
Professional Services are under the care of G. L. Brightharp & Sons Mortuary-North Augusta.

A mother“s love is eternal, hold on to that infinite love and let it be the light that guides you.
I will always cherish the wonderful memories I have of Bettye. She will be forever missed.
