Betty Ann Gibson, 93, of Providence, KY went home to Jesus on Sunday February 2, 2025, surrounded by her loved ones at her home.
Betty was born in Providence, KY, the daughter of the late Mr. Lester Kelley and Mrs. Eva Grant Kelley. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ubert Gibson, her son, Danny Gibson, her sisters, Freda Freeman, Martha Perdue, and brother, Kenny Kelley.
She was a member of Pleasant Valley Missionary Baptist Church, she loved spending time with her family, her door was always open to everyone, and her passing will forever leave a void in the hearts of those who loved her.
She is survived by her daughters, Paula (Ricky) Denton, Mellessia Driver, and Judith Travis all of Providence, KY; her sisters, Lucille (Bill) Vandiver of Madisonville, KY; Isa Anderson of Providence, KY; her grandchildren, Paul (Cassie) Denton, Crisy LaPradd, Markeata (Jon) Croft, Brent (Janis) Gibson, Rebecca Hutsell, Josh (Tara) Travis, and Trista Travis. 19 great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild, and a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday February 8, 2025, at 2:00PM at the Pleasant Valley Missionary Baptist Church with Bro. Ralph Alexander and Bro. Johnnie Davis officiating. Burial will follow in the White Oak Cemetery near Clay, KY.
Visitation will be held on Friday February 7, 2025, from 4:00PM until 8:00PM and from 10:00AM until the service hour on Saturday February 8, 2025, at the church.
