Anna Hicks Obituary
Born in Dover on November 19, 1942, she was the daughter of the late Harold and Minnie (Kline) Smith. She was also preceded in death by her son; Bernie Sellards Jr.; and three brothers; Donald, Bob, and Harold, her sister; Dorothy; and her step-children, Rick Hicks and Connie Johnson.
She was a graduate of Dover High School with the class of 1960.
Anna enjoyed keeping herself busy. She loved baking, knitting, and crocheting. She made over 1600 masks during Covid. She enjoyed selling her work at the farmers markets in Dover and Coshocton, and was presently working at Millers Studio in New Philadelphia.
She will be greatly missed by her husband, Kenneth Hicks; daughter, Lisa (Gil) Saburny Jr.; her step-children, Candi (Kenny) Harris, Kenny (Cindy) Hicks, and Steve (Lori) Hicks; along with numerous grandchildren.
Friends are invited to call at the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home & Crematory in Dover on Thursday, May 26, 2022, from 5-7 pm. A celebration of Anna's life will take place at the funeral home on Friday, May 27, 2022, at 11:00 am with Pastor Mark Gross officiating. Burial will follow at Dover Burial Park.
