Lorenzo Hernandez Obituary

Lorenzo Hernandez, 71, of Floresville, TX passed away on November 1, 2025, after carrying the cross of liver cirrhosis, liver cancer, and end stage liver failure for 13 years. He was born on November 8, 1953 in San Antonio, TX to Dolores and Juan Hernandez. Lorenzo was married to Lupe Molano Hernandez on April 27, 1984 in Floresville, TX. He is survived by his wife, Lupe Molano Hernandez; his son, John Paul "Rockstar" Hernandez; his daughter, Angela Rose Hernandez; and his son-in-law, David James Hernandez.

Lorenzo graduated from Holy Cross high school in 1972 where he served as Senior Class President. His fellow graduates stood by his side until the day he passed. A special thank you to his classmates for letting him know he wasn't alone.

Lorenzo made an impact in his community as the Workshop Manager for Camino Real Community Center in Floresville, Texas. He touched many lives during his time there.

Lorenzo loved to go fishing and passed that on to his kids, taking them on fishing trips. He also loved music, listening to genres like Motown, Rock and Roll, and the Blues. He passed that love for music onto his daughter, even taking her to see B.B. King when she was 11 years old.
