Amy Marie Adamson, beloved daughter, sister, mother, and grandmother, passed away on June 4, 2025, at the age of 45 at United Hospital. Born in Korea on December 30, 1979, she was adopted by her loving parents, Judy and Ed Adamson, and grew up in their South St. Paul home. Amy attended St. John Vianney, Lincoln Center, and South St. Paul High School, proudly earning her high school diploma. She went on to earn her nursing assistant certification, dedicating herself to helping others. Amy was known for her beautiful singing voice, which she often shared at family gatherings-filling the room with music and love.
Whether catching up over coffee or planning her next tattoo, Amy found joy in the things that made her feel most herself. She was strong-willed, honest, beautiful, and above all, big-hearted. Her children and granddaughter were the center of her world, and she considered motherhood-and later, being a grandmother-her greatest and most cherished role.
Amy is survived by her children, Jade Adamson (27), Evan Adamson (26), Jasmine Fait-Adamson (23), and Noah Adamson-Brown (18), and her precious grandchild, Mei (6). She also leaves behind her parents, Judy and Ed Adamson; her brother, Brian Adamson, and sister-in-law, Jessica Adamson; her nephew, Boone Adamson; and her niece, Harper Adamson. Amy was preceded in death by her grandparents, Joseph Warzecha, Dolores Warzecha, Russell Adamson, and Wanda Adamson.
In her memory, Amy will be remembered for her love of movies, with plenty of popcorn and Pepsi by her side. She had a special love for butterflies. When you see one, may it remind you of Amy's spirit always filled with quiet strength. She also never missed a chance to celebrate; balloons were a must at every party. Her laughter, warmth, and big-hearted nature will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
A special thanks to Kathy Kunze for her extensive medical knowledge, unwavering presence, and the comfort and care she provided to both Amy and our family. Your compassion and strength meant more than words can ever express.
A memorial service will be held for family and friends on June 18th. Visitation will be held at 10AM and the service will be at 11AM at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to SUMMIT Funeral & Cremation for Amy. Other gifts may be addressed to Judy Adamson. Your kindness is deeply appreciated.
