Died: December 9, 2023 in Streator, IL
Gary A. Webster, 75 of Streator passed away Saturday morning (December 9, 2023) at his home.
A visitation will be held Friday from 4 – 7PM at the Winterrowd Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 12 noon at the funeral with his nephew Paul Webster officiating. Cremation rites will follow services.
Gary was born on May 21, 1948, in Muncie, IN to Claude "Ed" and Naomi (Strong) Webster. He married Jenny Horton on September 1, 1979. She survives.
Also surviving are children Coleen Webster, Julie Webster, and Ed Webster all of Streator, and Laura (Nathan) Nodine of Ottawa, grandchildren Haley, Kayla, Cory, Kylie, Hunter and James, great-grandchildren Bruce, RaeLynn, and Legend, brothers, Terry (Janet) Webster, Daniel Webster, Robert (Liz Casey) Webster, Derek Heidenreich, Debrilee (Larry Cook) Hallam, Wendy (Jerry) Osterdock, and Jacqueline (Steve) Elleson all of Streator, David Webster of Union City, TN, Rhonda Foust of Ransom, and several bonus kids.
He is preceded in death by his parents, stepfather Ted Brunton, twin brother Larry, sister, Marilyn Shockey, sisters-in-law, Sandy, and Vickie Webster.
Gary attended Woodland School. He retired from Owens Illinois Glass and was a member of the Grace Community Church and a retired member of the Screaming Eagles. He enjoyed spending time with family, fishing, camping, and playing cards.
Per the family request that no perfume or cologne be worn for the visitation or services.
