Midland - Jesus Espino Arizpe, 83, of Midland, Texas, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Wednesday, May 29th in Midland, Texas. Jesus Espino Arizpe was born in Ocampo, Coahuila, Mexico to Manuel Gallegos Arizpe and Andrea Arizpe Espino, on August 22nd, 1940.
Jesus was a very hard worker starting at the age of 4. Later he moved to Midland, Texas to start his own landscaping business and to start a family. Jesus was a dedicated son to his parents and siblings in Mexico often supporting them as he tried to create a better life in the United States. He worked up until his last days over his 83 years of life. Jesus was a very dedicated loving father & grandfather to many kids, grandkids & great grandkids. He loved to fish, sing, play pool & cards with his family. He led a life with compassion, empathy & unconditional love. Jesus never knew a stranger and helped many people in his lifetime.
Jesus was preceded in death by his mother Andrea Arizpe Espino and father Manuel Gallego Arizpe, sister Maria Isabel Arizpe, brother Jose Espino Arizpe, and his companion Priscilla Rodriguez.
Jesus survived by his 12 children, Rueben (Maria) Diaz, Robert Torres, Joe Luis Torres, Andrea (Cipriano) Munoz, Maria (Bob) Rosa, Jesus (Melba) Arizpe Jr, Sebastian (Nicole) Arizpe), Peter (Adonica) Arizpe, Paul Arizpe, Blanca (Onesimo) Gonzales, Juan (Ashley) Arizpe, & Crystal (Benito) Hernandez. Jesus is also survived by 54 grandchildren and 46 great grandchildren whom he loved dearly. He also survived by his eldest sister Maria Albesa Guillen and his younger brother Manuel Espino Arizpe Jr of Acuna, Coahuila, Mexico. Pallbearers will be grandsons Bob Rosa, Miguel Arizpe, Isaiah Menchaca, Emmanuel Munoz, Josh Arizpe, Jeremiah Rosa, Peter Arizpe Jr, & Sebastian Arizpe Jr. Honorary pallbearers will be Cipriano Munoz, Bob Rosa, Benito Hernandez, Onesimo Gonzalez, and Noah John Arizpe.
A viewing will be held on Friday, May 31st, 2024, from 5:00 p.m.- 8:00 p.m. at Willowbrook Funeral Home, 1311 W. Florida Ave., Midland, TX. Funeral services will be held at 10:00am on Saturday, June 1st, 2024, at True-Lite Christian Fellowship, 3001 N. "A" St., Midland, TX 79705. Burial will follow at Serenity Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Midland. Services are entrusted to Willowbrook Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Midland.
