William Edward "Billy Ed" Hunter, age 68, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, August 3, 2022 at the University of Louisville Hospital. He was born in Nicholas County, Kentucky to the late William Ray Hunter and Wilma Dean Hunter. Besides his mother, he is survived by his wife of 24 years, Cathy Hunter; three children, Charles Darren (Angela McVey) Hunter, and Jeremy Wayne (Tiffany) Hunter, and Meredith "Mary Beth" (Josh) Mallory; four siblings, Janice Price, David Hunter, John Hunter, and Melissa Stafford; five grandchildren, Emily Hunter, Lillian Mae Mallory, Lucy Grace Hunter, Josie Mae Hunter, Madison Martin, and Bryson Toy; and his mother-in-law, Jackie Hamilton. Visitation will be held Tuesday, August 9, 2022 at Robertson County Funeral Home, beginning at 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, August 10, 2022, at the Blue Licks Christian Church at 1:00 PM. Visitation will be held starting at 10:30 am until time of service. Bro. Bob Cannon officiating. Burial will follow the service at Mount Tabor Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Mount Tabor Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Charles Darren Hunter, Jeremy Wayne Hunter, Josh Mallory, Bruce Hill, Brody Hill, John Hunter, Bobby Price, and Larry Hunter. Honorary pallbearers will be Buddy Hamilton, Perry Price Jr., Jackie Price, Randy Hunter, Jimmy Price, Roy Earlywine, Tommy Ockerman, Rob Hastings, Wayman Tilton Jr., Kelly Jolly and Larry LeBlanc.
