Passed on January 23, 2024
Lucy was born on January 9, 1951, in Cairo, Ga. to the late Max H Garland and Grace D Garland.
She was a loving wife of 53 years to Thomas Michael Alley (Mike).
She was also survived by her son's Christopher Alley (Tiffany) and Gregory Alley (Rachel) along with grandsons Max Alley, Carson Alley, and Hunter Alley (Hailey). Granddaughters Mary-Katherine Slappy (Darian), Elizabeth Brooks (Kyle) and Great Granddaughter Avery Slappy.
She also leaves behind brothers Hal and Tommy Garland, sisters Susan Redifer and Nancy Rogers. Along with several nieces and nephews.
A private memorial will be held at a future date.
In lieu of flowers make a donation to American Cancer Society.

To Mike, the boys and their families. I'm so saddened to know of Lucy's passing. She was a fun, sweet, and generous neighbor, and I can't count the number of times y'all both have helped me over the years. I can still picture her singing and dancing as she was mowing my lawn for me years ago. What a joyful sight, and I can only imagine her joy as she is once again singing and dancing in Heaven.
