Edmund Scarazzo Obituary

Edmund J. Scarazzo- aka "Mo" is a great loss to our family and will truly be missed. Mo was born January 10th, 1932 in Aliquippa, PA. His passing was on July 21, 2021, and he is preceded in death by brother "Mars" Scarazzo. He is survived by sisters Palma Mott (and Lou), and Julia Russo residing in Pa. His love for music and string bass playing drew his loving and beautiful wife of 62 years Agnes Zaccheo. They married and moved to Las Vegas in 1956 and had three children- KoKo, Reina, Marna and granddaughter Rachel Ann. Mo was a musician in Las Vegas for over 25 years and played most of the LV strip showrooms. He finished his career as musical director at Bally's LV. His love for pasta, martinis, the Steelers and his close family kept him alive and happy until his passing. Daughter's and granddaughter's spouses Dennis, Eddie and Geno grew to love him as everyone did that knew him. We know he is now in heaven playing his bass with our mom playing piano for all the music lovers in heaven. Services will be held Saturday, July 31, 2021, 1:00PM, 2127 W. Charleston Blvd, Las Vegas 89102, lunch following service.

The best dad in the whole world!! It has been four years today you have been gone. But your memory lives on in. Like Mom, your presence is with us every day in our homes. We know you are with mommy and playing your beautiful music in heaven. Every day we think of you and on Sundays have a martini in your honor. We love and miss you papa!!

Best dad in the world! Always in our hearts. We miss you every day and remember our Sunday afternoon 3:30 martinis, and dinners at Mastrioni's and Maggiano's. We love coming to visit you and mommy at the Veteran's Memorial and hope you like our flowers! We all feel your presence and love throughout our homes. We cherish our memories of the perfect parents we had. Heaven sure is lucky... Love, Marna, Eddie and Reina

Mo, or "Uncle Mo" as we affectionately referred to him, was the epitome of humanity. Generosity, empathy, love, humor, and kindness all consistently characterized this charming, handsome, talented man. Everyone in his circle looked forward to interacting with "Uncle Mo." Spending time in his presence was often sufficient to make the day for those of us who embraced him as a friend. To say the obvious, Mo will be missed.

May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together.

Your dad was such a great person. I think I will remember him the most by him always saying to me Mugggooo and the hand jester that went with it. Remember the time he spooked you and me Koko after watching that movie we won't mention. The one that scared the hell out of us so much I spent the night at your house on a school night!!

Moe you will be missed, but now it's time to start your new life with those that you knew that passed on before you. You are free, now go make some music with Agnes and others that play as well.
