Tina Abdullah Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Jan. 9, 2025.
Tina (Mackin) Abdullah, 58, passed away peacefully at the same home she grew up in on January 5, 2025, in Fort Wayne, IN.

Tina's life was a beautiful reflection of love, faith, and joy. A devoted wife, sister, daughter, aunt, and friend, she cherished her family above all else. She held dear the countless moments of joy at family gatherings, creating precious memories with her loved ones, and offering unwavering support and encouragement to those she held dear. Tina's radiant spirit extended beyond her family to her passions. She found peace and wonder at the beach, and found a special joy swimming with dolphins which portrayed her deep love for animals, including her dog and cats. Her life was also a testament to her strong and enduring faith in God. Guided by her faith, Tina lived a life of love, joy, peace, patience, and kindness to all those she encountered.

Tina will be deeply missed by her surviving family including her husband of six years, Jaleel Abdullah; mother, Anna Mackin; siblings, Tom (Shelly) Mackin Jr., Tammy (Jeff) Herron, Tim (Laura) Mackin, and Tonya (Rodd) Botteron; nephews and nieces, Jeff Mackin, Cody Mackin, Jacob Mackin, Kami Neff, Joshua Herron, Jordan Herron, Steph Mackin, Trisha Kuntz, and Blake Gribler; and twelve great-nephews and nieces. She was preceded in death by her father Thomas Mackin Sr.

A celebration of Tina's life will take place on Friday, January 10, 2025. The family will receive friends from 5:00p to 7:00p. The celebration of life service will begin immediately after calling hours, located at Fairhaven Funeral Home (6557 N. Clinton Street, Fort Wayne). In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to Parkview Hospice in honor of Tina and the Hospice team that cared for her.
