I loved how Dick could make me laugh no matter how upset I was. He always had a story for me about the "good 'ole days" of the LAOOC. I was fascinated by the memories he had and his willingness to share them with me. Goodbye my friend. I'm sure all those people who are up there with you will laugh at your stories of the early days of the best time in my life.

Dick's smile and humor lit up any meeting I was in with him, and even whenever I saw him in passing at the LAOOC headquarters, whether that was in Westwood or Culver City. I most remember the LAOOC events outside the office, like the one in my photo. That was the picnic at one of the fields at UCLA. Dick's fun personality came out then and he never failed to make me laugh and ensured I had a good time! I also thoroughly enjoyed his and Pat's visit to my home, where we spent hours going over old photos reminiscing about LAOOC and how special it was in our lives. Dick would delight me with behind the scenes secret stories that I'd never heard before. I will miss him and sharing our fond memories we shared at the LAOOC. Goodbye Dick. I know you're at a reunion in heaven with all our colleages who've joined you.
