Carroll Crist Obituary
Carroll Ernest "Butch" Crist, age 87, passed away on November 5, 2025, at his home in Lincoln, NE.
Carroll was born on June 20, 1938 in Portland, OR, and raised in Snyder, NE, by his mother, Virgie (Robart) Crist. He graduated from Snyder High School in 1956. He was united in marriage to Jenna Kay Schulenberg on August 21, 1959, in Lincoln, NE.
Carroll is survived by his wife, Jenna Crist of Lincoln; his children, Dr. Randall (Deanna) Crist of Omaha, David (Julie) Crist of Lincoln, Jane Rosenau of Lincoln, and Rustin (Ildi) Crist of Chicago, IL; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his mother; two siblings, Beverly Bower and Charles "Wes" Crist; daughter, Pamela Crist; and son-in-law, Dr. Perry Rosenau.
Carroll was cremated and there will be no visitation. A memorial service will be held on December 5th at 2 p.m. at the Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home. Memorials may be directed to the family for later designation. More info at www.lincolnfh.com.
