Sandra Krueger Obituary
Portage
Died Monday evening October 30, 2023. Sandra was born July 28, 1936, in Grand Rapids, MI the daughter of Victor and Sarah (Boden) Black. She had been a Kalamazoo area resident most of her life and was employed in the retail jewelry business for 25 years before retiring. Sandra was also a member of St. Monica Catholic Church. She enjoyed social activities such as bingo, playing cards with her family & friends, going out to dinner with friends, as well as spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Sandra also enjoyed watching sporting events, especially the Red Wings, Tigers, Lions, and attending Portage Northern Football Games. On November 24, 1956, she was united in marriage to Charles E. Krueger. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles; her parents; and her great grandson, Archer Joseph Pieper. Sandra is survived by her sons, Charles E. Krueger Jr. of Delton and Scott (Caroline) Krueger of Jordan, MN; two grandchildren, Allison Pieper and Kyle Krueger; two great grandchildren, Theodore Charles Pieper and Jackson Alexander Pieper; sister, Sally Jo Orr; and several nieces and nephews. The Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 11:00 am Friday, November 10th at St. Monica Catholic Church 4408 S. Westnedge Ave, Kalamazoo, MI 49008 with a luncheon immediately following. Sandra will be laid to rest next to her husband at Fort Custer National Cemetery at a later date. Visitation will be held from 3:00-7:00 pm Thursday, November 9th with a Scripture Service beginning at 6:30 pm at Langeland Family Funeral Homes Burial & Cremation Services 411 E Centre Ave, Portage, MI 49002.
