Lorraine G. Keeney
Lorraine G. Keeney, 92, passed into the arms our Lord, surrounded by her loving family, on Dec 21, 2023. She was the daughter of the late Octave and Donalda (Fontaine) Gauthier; and devoted wife of Alfred W. Keeney for 62 years before his passing in 2017. Her family was her most valued treasure. She was loving, kind and had an adventurous spirit. She traveled all across the USA with her family, to Hawaii with Al twice and a memorable trip to France. She enjoyed playing cards and driving a van for special needs children for many years.
Lorraine was predeceased by her brother, Robert Gauthier, and two granddaughters, Jennifer Caron and Jessica Hoyt. She is survived by her children, Diane (Steve) Caron, Terry Keeney (Chuck Brown), Joan Mikolowsky, Sandra (William Hoyt), David (Christine) Keeney, grandchildren, Nathan, Nick, Sarah, Alyssa, Ashley and Erica. She is also survived by her companion and friend, Phillip Mitchell. We are forever grateful for her love and lifelong example of family values.

Calling Hours will be held on December 28th, from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. at Holmes Watkins Funeral Home, located at 400 Main Street, Manchester, CT 06040. A Funeral Mass will be held at Assumption R.C. Church, located at 27 Adams Street, Manchester, CT, on December 29th, at 10 a.m., with burial to follow in West Cemetery, Manchester, CT.
