Francis (Frank) Eugene Patrick Plucinski passed away peacefully at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House, Thursday January 23, 2025, at the age of 84. Born in Chicago, Illinois, October 28,1940, Frank was proceeded in death by his parents Patrick and Francis Plucinski and wife Caroline. Frank graduated from Lane Tech High School in Chicago and started a military career as a navigator in the United States Air Force where he attained the rank of Captain at the age of 26. Frank was passionate about the rights of others, demonstrating this by volunteering to fly missions with African American pilots and crewmen. Frank later graduated from University of Houston with his degree in Architecture. He worked as an architect with S.I.R. Inc Architectural Associates where he worked on projects in the Middle East, Northern Africa and Southern Europe. Frank had a special place in his heart for downtown and north Jonesboro.
