Rodney Crank Obituary

Rodney Dean Crank Sr., age 69, of Griffin, Georgia passed away on July 25, 2025. Rodney was born on Thursday, October 20, 1955, in Corvallis, Oregon to the late Robert and Doris Apple. Along with his parents, Rodney is preceded in death by his brother, Jeff Crank. Rodney loved his time in the Air Force. He also loved trains, Nascar and Horsepower. He loved spending time with his family and spending time outdoors. Rodney was a strong man, and he was very well respected in his community. He also had a great sense of humor and loved making people laugh. He is survived by his wife, Sheila Crank; children, Nick Crank, Rodney Crank Jr, James "Bubba" Tingle (Brandy), Steve Tingle, April Tingle, Connie Tingle; multiple grandchildren, great-grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and extended family members; and Mike Shellley, a close friend but like a brother. The family will hold a memorial service at their home on a later date. Those who wish may sign the online guest registry at www.sherrell-westburyfuneralhome.com.
