Siobhan Beas Obituary

Siobhan Beas, 46, of Enfield, passed away peacefully in the comfort of her own home after a long fight with a brain tumor, on Thursday, September 16, 2021, with her loving husband and son by her side. Her love, care, and trust will not soon be forgotten. Siobhan was born on October 2, 1974, the loving daughter to Patrick and Margaret (Schlichting) Sayers. She graduated from Windsor Locks High School in 1992 and went on to continue her education at Manchester Community College and Charter Oak College. She enjoyed a career as a case manager with MetLife and DMS. She was a member of the Irish American Home Society. Throughout her time in high school she participated on the track team and took that love for running later participating at the Manchester Road Race with Team Sayers. Siobhan enjoyed camping with her family and spending time with her dogs, creating many fond memories. Siobhan is survived by her husband, John Beas and son, Charles Beas, both of Enfield; her parents, Patrick and Margaret Sayers of Windsor Locks; her in-laws, John and Shirley Beas of East Hartford; brothers, Patrick Sayers of Windsor Locks, James Sayers and his wife, Cindy, of Enfield, Michael Sayers and his wife, Mary, of Granby, and Brendan Sayers and his wife, Yeong Kim, of Chicopee; her sister, Mary Sayers of Windsor Locks; brothers-in-law, Edward Nugent and his wife, Terry, of East Hartford, Charles Nugent and his wife, Nelly, of Texas, and Herbert Beas II of East Hartford; and many cousins and extended family members in Ireland. Relatives and friends are invited to join the family for calling hours on Monday, September 20, 2021, from 4 -7 pm at the Windsor Locks Funeral Home, 441 Spring St., Windsor Locks, CT. A Mass will be held on Tuesday, September 21, 2021, at 10:00 am at St. Robert Bellarmine Church, 52 S Elm St., Windsor Locks. Please meet directly at the church. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family. Her spirit and strength of will brought us closer together as we dealt with the twists and turns of this journey against cancer. Siobhan's family extends a special thank you to all friends and family for their love and continuous support throughout this process. Siobhan loved you all and missed her family, friends and coworkers from the past and present.
