Kitty Farmer Walker, 83, of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, passed away peacefully on September 19, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on March 25, 1942, in North Carolina to the late Lessie and Dwane "Dixie" Barret.
She was a longtime resident of Albany and Metairie, Louisiana, before moving to Baton Rouge. Kitty was a devoted mother to Brenda LaSalle (Patrick), Brian Walker (Kim), and the late Robby Walker. She was the proud grandmother of Michael and Matthew LaSalle and Payton Walker, and great-grandmother to Ellie LaSalle.
She is survived by siblings Joan Petrisko, Carolyn Schwarm, and Gary Barret. She was preceded in death by siblings Margie Killian, Josie Baxley, Charlie Farmer, and James Farmer.
Kitty will be remembered as a kind, joyful soul who loved to make people laugh and lived her life as a faithful follower of Christ.
