Annmarie "Claudette" Laflamme, 86, of Waterbury, passed away peacefully on Friday, September 19, 2025, at the Village at East Farms.
Claudette was born on August 21, 1939, in Waterbury, CT, daughter of the late Ephrem "Jerry" and Alma (Delage) Laflamme. She was educated in local schools and earned her college degrees from Annhurst College and Fairfield University. Before her retirement, she worked as a French teacher for Watertown High School. She enjoyed knitting, traveling with her church group, but truly loved being a part of the Blessed Sacrament Church family. She was a member of the Delta Kappa Gamma Society International and a communicant of the Blessed Sacrament Church.
Claudette is survived by her cousins, Florence Marie Kupuscinski of New Jersey, Kathleen Frederick and her husband, Mark, and their son, Ryan Frederick and his wife, Maureen, all of Berlin, CT, and Francis Addessio and his wife, Barbara, and their daughter, Laura of Bend, OR, her Goddaughter, Courtney Barganier and her husband, Ryan, of Southington, and her Godson, Robert Ouellette from New Jersey, and her two best friends, Lynette Ouellette and Joanne Chenkus.
Arrangements: Funeral will be held 9:00 a.m., Tuesday, September 23, 2025, from Chase Parkway Memorial/The Albini Family Funeral Home, 430 Chase Parkway, Waterbury, to the Basilica of the Immaculate Conception for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Watertown. A calling hour for Claudette will be held on Tuesday morning, from 8:00 – 9:00 a.m. at the funeral home.
