Glenda Miller Obituary

Glenda A. Miller, 94 of Oxford, Alabama passed away on September 29, 2025. A visitation will be Thursday, October 2, 2025 from 10:00 am until 12:00pm at Miller Funeral Home. A funeral service will begin at 12:00 pm. A graveside service will be at Cedar Creek Baptist Church Cemetery at 2:00 pm. Pastor Zach Van Gieson will be officiating. She is survived by her sister, Gloyce Austin; 3 sons, Larry Miller (Lana) of Bradenton, Florida, Gary Miller, Jeff Miller (Staci) of Oxford, Alabama; 5 grandchildren; and 6 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, John V. Williamson, and Emma D. Williamson/Morris; brothers, Leon Williamson, Ralph Williamson, and Billy Joe Williamson. Glenda was born in Cleburne County, Alabama on May 17, 1931. She traveled many parts of the globe while supporting the defense of our nation. After retiring from the military support role she moved to Calhoun County where she worked for City Drugs, Hager Hinge, Calhoun County Substance Abuse Agency, and Lowe's at different times of her life.
