I am picturing my aunt Pat reuniting with her husband, my uncle Brian. They are on their farm now once again, at the place they loved and stewarded for many years. They are surrounded by family members and dear friends and the love of the many animals they cared for together over the years, all now welcoming her to be at ease. A great mystery is finally revealed. Peace and understanding wash over her at last, after a life of struggle and hard work. She is welcomed to the fold and released back to The Source of everything around us, which she honored by good works and her deeds in life.
This is a woman who woke up every day and chose to walk in the light, but would have easily been forgiven had she surrendered to the darkness of our world. She had a hard life. She wasn´t rich, but she had a tremendous spirit. We can only hope to live a life as dignified and as honorable as Pat did. She will be missed dearly. Farewell and may we meet again someday (and tell uncle Brian hello).

Pat was my beloved sister-in-law. She could do anything-carpentry,art, raise animals-especially her birds-and was kind to everyone. She was my partner in crime, so to speak. We helped each other with projects and enjoyed the same things. What a shock to lose her and I will never forget her. Personally I believe all of God´s go to Heaven and I believe that Pat will be blessed to help care and love all these creatures. That gives me some deep peace in my heart. Rebecca Radcliffe Braun
