We will all miss you forever, until the day that we may forever be together again.
The tears that were shed at your passing by the ones left behind, will someday, one by one, be replaced by smiles & embraces as we all meet you again, One By One.

P.S. Uncle Bob, I hope now you will take the time & finish your book. Love & miss you very much::

I believe everyone has people in their lives who have in some way made a tremendous impact in their life. Uncle Bob is one of those people for me. Ever since I can remember, he was a dreamer with an entrepreneural spirit. No matter what he did, it was with excitement, a good attitude and spirit, belief in what he was doing, and he always gave 110%. He always took time for his family and friends and was the type of person you just enjoyed being around.

I never knew any man that loved to hunt and fish more than Uncle Bob. He has many nephews and great nephews who are following closely in his footsteps but don't quite measure up. I have so many great memories of hunting and fishing and story telling with Uncle Bob. They will be treasured forever.

One year while Uncle Bob was here in Gold Beach staying with my folks we had been fishing several days and planning the next days fishing trip at night. One night before I showed up, Uncle Bob and my Dad had been trying to solve all the problems in the world and talking about whatever else. When I showed up the conversation changed to fishing. Dad listened for awhile then asked us why is it when you two get together you always end up talking about fishing and said we were both nuts. I can still see Uncle Bob's face light up like a light bulb, see that mischievous grin on his face, and hear him bust out laughing. He loved his hunting and fishing and I loved Uncle Bob and having him as part of my life.

Uncle Bob was very special to me and I will miss him tremendously.

Uncle Bob was always such a special uncle to all of us. He was always there with a hug when you walked in the door. I was so lucky to have been here in Oregon his last trip and be able to spend some time with him. He will be missed but he sure is with a bunch of special people now, too. May the family feel comfort knowing that he is with them all and he is forever "Gone Fishing". I love you all.

Uncle Bob was a special man. I didn't get to be around him near enough but what times I did get to spend with him were very special. He is missed by many but I know he is in a better place with Grandma and Grandpa, my cousin Robby, and his other siblings. RIP Uncle Bob. We love you!

I wish I had an opportunity to know Uncle Bob as well as Dad and Judy. What I did know of him, how much he enjoyed life and a good time, showed through his eyes and the eyes of those who talked about their time spent with him. A beautiful man, with a beautiful family.

I was able to see Uncle Bob this spring while in Oregon. It's the first time I had seen him since I was a kid. I really enjoyed getting to listen to his stories and see his sense of humor, and love for life and fishing. I am thankful I had that chance. Our deepest sympathies and prayers go to his family at this time.

Uncle Bob has always been a part of my life. We shared many adventures together throughout the years fishing, boating, traveling and just visiting. Most of these adventures were in Oregon. I even got to go nightcrawling with him one night in Ohio. I never got to go hunting with him but it was like I was there when he would tell you his hunting stories. I was there when he got his one and only turkey at 77 years old tho. He got it here in Oregon. He said he had hunted turkeys for 32 yrs. and was he ever excited when he finally got one.

He was the best story teller I have ever been around. And when Uncle Bob was in the story telling mode-Everybody Listened! He was a very special Uncle and I miss him so much already. His memory will always be close to my heart-what great memories they are!

I put in some of these special memories in the photo album if you would like to see them.

I only knew Uncle Bob for a very short time, but I sure enjoyed every minute of getting to know him. I know he meant the world to my Dad, and for that I'm forever grateful.

Uncle Bob has a very special splace in my heart. He gave me away on my wedding day. He filled the shoes as a Dad for me on that very special day. I'm sure he did the same for each of his daughters, but I was not his daughter, I was his niece. And yet he was there for me when my Dad could not be there. I always loved him dearly for what he did for me. I don't think there was anyone who loved fishing anymore than Uncle Bob, when I think of Uncle Bob, I always remember how much he loved to go fishing and all the fishing stories he had to share. I will miss him so much, but I know he is in heaven with our Lord and all of the family & loved ones who have gone before him.
