Rosia Brown Obituary

Rosia M. Brown was born on September 11, 1948, in Lee County South Carolina to the late Lee and Lillie Mickens Mack. Rosia grew up and went to school in Bishopville, South Carolina. In 1969, she married her childhood sweetheart Jimmy Brown. Rosia and Jimmy had a happy marriage, and they enjoyed their time together, they were able to travel internationally and to various parts of the United States. During her adult life, Rosia worked both in the public and private sector. The job she enjoyed the most was being a loving and devoted wife to Jimmy and a mother to Donella, Jamaar, Jermie, and a grandmother to Chance. Her good life became better, once with love and devotion she dedicated her life to Jehovah God. She believed the greatest achievement a person could obtain is to learn and serve Jehovah with their whole heart, whole mind, and whole soul, and love others as yourself. (Matthew 22:37-39) She achieved her goals and symbolized her life by water baptism. Rosia found great joy in helping others come to know Jehovah by engaging in the Christian Ministry. Rosia had great concern for fellow Christians near and far who did not have the freedom to openly serve Jehovah. As she got older and her health diminished, her faith in Jehovah never wavered. She would always say, "Jehovah, I did the best I could." Rosia will be deeply missed by her husband Jimmy; daughter, Donella; sons, Jamaar and Jermie; grandson, Chance; and adopted daughter, Latisha Lee. Rosia came from a large family: Ruth Chambers (NJ), Elma Henry (Ravis) (NJ), James Mack (NJ), Jimmy Mack (Linda), Lillie Davis, Julius Mack-deceased (Jean), Ernestine Davis (deceased), Barbara Williams, Roy Mack (deceased), all from Bishopville, South Carolina and Beverly Mack (North Carolina). Rosia is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law, brothers-in law, and friends, all of whom she loved deeply.
