Uncle Pete, I am still trying to process the fact that you are no longer here. But I find comfort in the fact that you are no longer suffering in pain. I will always remember the encouraging words you've spoken to me and I will forever cherish them and our memories. You have not lost the battle but you won and I will always admire your strength and will power! You were an awesome uncle!! I miss you and love you lots!!

Hebrews 2: 14, 15 is comforting to reflect on. It reassures you what your Almighty Father in the heavens will do to end death and how that is comforting to you as you go from day to day. May your hearts be filled with His peace.

Uncle Pete,
You will always be remembered for your wit, humor, and laughter. I will never forget you telling me that you were in pain every single day. You're now pain free! You fought your battle for a long time...and now you have won! We will always remember you!

To the family, our hearts are heavy, still we rejoice and we want you to rejoice with us because Elder Stevens finished his race strong. Yes, it was a long battle, but we believe death was swallowed up in victory. We will miss him.
